.com, .net, .biz, .org, and .us, to name a few.

I will research the availablity of the name you have in mind.
Give you alternative suggestions, if that name is taken.
Then register it for you annually.

The cost for this is $20 per year.

At the end of the year you will have the option of renewing
your domain name or not.
